44/52 - Sunday Evenings...

This year the pattern goes... work all week and then away most weekends for study.

Because of this most of my Sunday evenings have involved many hours of driving, rushing to get home to these two beautiful babies. I don't get to see them awake, but I always go, first thing and kiss them and stroke their heads and nuzzle their noses and whisper "Mumma's Home". So this week, I give you how I see these treasures and use these photos as the real moment and memory of the year I was very busy and didn't get to see the kids as much as I would have liked.

"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2013."

Matilda: The thumb has moved.... it is no longer permanently in her mouth... even when she is sleeping!

Orlando: As the first night he was born, Dufus looks over him while he sleeps... nail biting has become an issue...

  1. quite a journey these photos take me on Soph - the journey of being away doing your study, the love of your children whilst you are away, the laughter of Dufus and our special toys as night protectors and wondering how we become nail biters and what can solve this . . . beautiful evocative photos thank you
