I am not a fan of really hot weather. I melt in the heat like chocolate. I always have. We do not have air conditioning at our house either. So we have to come up with other ways too keep cool. One strategy is going to our local National Botanic Gardens and walking through their beautiful rain forest gully. On a really hot day it can be up to 10 degrees cooler in the shady ferns than up in the sun. On one trip last week we were lucky enough to be there when they were misting the gully. HEAVEN ON A HOT DAY!
